What Does Three Consecutive Beeps Mean on a Computer?
Three beeps that repeat after a pause and occur when you power on your computer indicate a problem with the system memory. Three beeps that play and then stop as the computer starts successfully mean that the BIOS was restored. While some other programs may also have a three-beep sound, those that mean you need to take action and repair your computer will sound right as the computer operating system is turning on, and the tones will replay after a pause. Solving Memory Errors
The first thing to do is remove any extra RAM you added to the computer before turning it on. Once the RAM is removed, restart the computer and wait to see whether it powers on normally. If it does, try re-inserting the RAM and seeing whether you can install it more securely in the computer. You can also try to re-insert original RAM if the error occurs when you haven’t installed new memory. Try cleaning the connection panels on the memory and on the computer itself,as well. If the computer still won’t turn on after the memory is cleaned and positioned properly, you may need to purchase new memory or take your computer to be repaired.

If you have re-inserted the module and are still getting the error light/beeps, replace the module with a compatible replacement module and check if this resolves the problem.
If it still fails it may be a memory controller issue on the motherboard
The possible reason as an overloaded power supply. Disconnect all external devices to see if any of those items are causing the problem, (such as a hard, diskette, or optical drives, and expansion cards). Power on the system. If the system enters the POST, then power off and replace one device at a time and repeat this procedure until failure occurs. Replace the device that is causing the failure. Continue adding devices one at a time to ensure all devices are functioning properly.
